Gamespot
put up a preview
of Neverwinter Nights. Nothing new, maybe a few screens I had not
seen. I'm concerned about NWN now because of the greatness of Dungeon
Siege. I hope that it can hold up to the competition. The multiplayer
is obviously the big draw because of the Dungeon Master ability and the
toolset. Although, I'm sure I won't be the first, I plan on creating the
entire module of Ravenloft into the game and dragging some of my
friends through it. White Plume Mountain might also make an appearance.
Of course, the toolset will have to be fairly simple. I'm not willing
to learn a new computer language to do this. I'm sure all the classic
modules will be downloadable anyway.
Also Morrowind went gold, so it should be in stores
next month. I may not buy it when it first comes out, since I have not
finished Dungeon Siege, or Jedi Knight II, or Blood Omen
2 on Xbox. I'm looking to rent Spider-Man: The Movie, ESPN
MLS Extra Time 2002 (that is the worst name for a soccer game I've
ever seen), and FIFA World Cup 2002 on Xbox soon as well.
Sometime I should write on the script. The competition
deadline creeps ever closer.

As promised, more pics from Dungeon Siege.
I finally finished the damn goblin robot hell dungeon. The dungeons in
DS are a little big, but just when you think you can't possibly stand
to be in the dungeon any longer, you emerge into wilderness...with no
load times.
I haven't been playing much Jedi Knight II
recently, although I think I'm about finished with the single-player.
Been playing some more Dungeon Siege recently.
Here is a screen of my character holding what may appear to be a minigun.
It is a minigun. Yes, this a D&D style RPG, but there are apparently
miniguns and flamethrowers. There are also goblin-built robots with gatling
guns for arms. I'll put some screens of those up sometime later. This
game is really really good. If I can get my lame ass friends on board,
we'll be playing some multiplayer soon.
You know what else is fun? 8 on 8, Capture the
Flag, Jedi Knight II, sabers only. If I can figure out how to take
some damned screenshots in Jedi Knight II, I'll post a few. My
primitive method of dumping the clipboard image into paint is just that...primitive.
I'll have to flip through my Quake III manual and find out how
to do that.
