This is just wonderful. It's not that I dislike rain in and of itself, but the rain flows into my house ruining my stuff. This kind of heavy rain means no sleeping for a while.

Chris Chambers cost me the 2004 170 Fantasy Football League Championship. Several years ago, my friends from college convinced me to get into fantasy football with them. We don't take it terribly seriously, and the league is always just us and some fillers from other people we know. I don't watch or follow football that much, and the only reason I do anymore is to see how my players are doing. Our league is set up head-to-head, so it isn't just about who scores the most points at the end of the season. Each week you play against someone else's team. This is much more fun because it awards many more opportunities to berate your friends after you beat them since you can post "news stories" to the league front page (cases in point one and two.)

Three years ago, I won the league which surprised me as much as anyone else since I wasn't even moving my players anymore. This year I actively participated all year and won my division. The final game was this weekend. I lost by one point because Chris Chambers got tackled behind the line of scrimmage and lost two points. He made them back up and ended up scoring zero, but those two points cost me.

Anyway, here is the scoreboard from the final game followed by the end of season standings. My team is the Mandalore Warrior Caste.

I added some links in my links section at the bottom to some more blogs by people I know. I'm sure Randy (6 Foot 7), Nick (Nicholas), and Ben (Stepping Stones) would all appreciate a visit.

Going on the feedback from the readers of this site, I'm making some changes to The Alpha Script. I haven't uploaded the changes yet, but I will when we finish. They are subtle, but I hope to address some of the concerns you guys had. Thanks for the feedback.

Some new trailers out there for Batman Begins, Constantine, and War of the Worlds. The WotW is just a teaser, but it gives an idea of the atmosphere. I think Batman Begins is shaping up nicely. Constantine looks like a movie that would benefit from a different lead actor. I know that the comic book nerds the world round cried havok when Keanu was cast because John Constantine is supposed to be blonde and British and not a robot. I never read Hellblazer so I don't care about him being British. I think Sean Penn would have been good in this role. John Constantine is supposed to be a big smoker and Sean Penn has smoker body language. I still think it looks pretty good, but Keanu just doesn't deliver dialogue very well.

Kim and I saw Blade Trinity last week. I thought it was just enjoyable, but Kim really liked it. I had some problems with the dialogue, I thought there was too much slow-motion-walking-"Wild Bunch" shots, and I thought the whole ipod thing was extremely distasteful. Jessica Biel might as well have turned to the camera and said, "Killing vampires really stresses me out, so I like to kick back and listen to some music on my ipod." Other than that, though, I thought Blade Trinity was entertaining.

I have some blogger links to post in the links section which I will do soon. I haven't forgotten about you guys (Nick, Ben, etc.) It's just that...I've been really busy...playing World of Warcraft.

Well, I finally finished the website for my script. This week or next week I'll start sending out the queries to see if there is any interest out there for it. I invite you all to take a look and let me know what you think. Also, PLEASE report any broken links or formatting strangeness you see on any of the pages. You can use the multiple email links for me found on the first few pages.
