Rather than trying to explain this lengthy absence, let's just pretend I've been posting some really interesting stuff the whole time. Having said that, here's some catch up points.

Here's a recent picture of Titan wearing a rock star shirt our friend Mike got him (notice it's designed to look like a t-shirt being worn over long underwear a la the grunge look) and the Guitar Hero 2 controller.

Speaking of Guitar Hero 2, it's really good. The changes to the hammer-ons and pull-offs really makes soloing easier. However, most of the songs near the end of the song list suck.

Casino Royale is awesome. You can read my review here.

My Fall Games Preview part 2 was posted some time ago, but here's the link anyway.

Still unemployed, thanks for asking.

I played through Marvel Ultimate Alliance on Xbox 360. It's just X-Men Legends with better graphics and more characters, but if you're a Marvel comics fan it's lots of fun.

I've given up with Nip/Tuck. The show is just shit now.

Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War - Dark Crusade is really good (although the title is excessive). It adds a nice Risk-style tactical game to the single-player campaign and the new races are cool.

I finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I know everyone probably read it when it came out, but I was on a little break from Harry Potter at the time. I think it's the worst book in the series. It has an ending that may look good on film, but there is a serious lack of direction and villainy throughout the entire story.

We got some new flooring put down in our "dining room" (where the computers are). Since I had to move all that furniture, I decided to go through all the desks and shelves and ended up throwing away over 400 CD jewel cases. All our music CDs are now in binders and the cases are in the trash. This was a huge step for me.

Playstation 3 and Wii are out, and I didn't buy either. This is mostly due to the fact that I'm unemployed, but also there were no titles that I absolutely had to have for either. I'll probably stay away from the Wii (much like I did the Gamecube), but a Playstation 3 may be in my future at some point.

Eragon comes out next month. I never read the books, but my Mom did and stands by their quality. I can't decide about the look of the movie. The trailers have their moments, though, so I may try to catch it.

The second trailer for Spider-Man 3 was released, and while it was supposed to feature footage of Venom it, sadly, does not. Comic book fans cried in anguish.
